The Pavilion, Soham.Soham Place Mansion History (The Walter Gidney Pavilion).  
The earliest date we have traced the Mansion back to is on a map dating 1656,
but documents show there was a building on the same site much earlier.

The hall was demolished on the 5th July 2010.

There was a watermill or possibly two recorded in Soham as early as 1086, and later a water powered fulling mill recorded as being disused in Soham in 1450.

The earliest recorded Windmill in the parish of Soham dates back to the 1230's, and in c.1370 another is recorded to have stood near an area called Melnebrede.
Downfields Windmill, Soham.Downfields Tower Windmill.  
Downfields Windmill is an unusual octagonal shape, was built in 1890 using parts from an earlier and small smock mill, this smock mill dated from about 1720.

This mill was situated immediately to the North of Downfields Mill. Also known as Crisps Mill, Markhams Mill, Cowells Mill and Griggs Mill.
Hardfield Windmill, Soham.Hardfield Smock Windmill.  
By 1958 this windmill had completely disappeared. Also known as Clarks Mill, Manns Mill and the Kings Parade Mill.
Shade Smock Windmill, Soham.Shade Smock Windmill.  
The smallest tower in the Cambs-Hunts area, tapering from 14ft 6in to 7ft 8in, a very narrow-gutted mill, this mill like Lavender's mill, Christchurch, has been converted from a marsh mill.

Including the old Baptist barn in Brook Dam Lane, built pre 1752 that was allowed to be demolished by a Soham builder to build flats on the site.

It is recorded that the Wesleyans built a chapel at the junction of Cock Lane in 1815, the present day building is now being used by the Viva Arts Group.
The Primitive Methodist Chapel, Berrycroft Lane, Soham.The Primitive Methodist Chapel, Berrycroft Lane, Soham.  
The Primitive Methodists built a chapel South of Bury Croft in Berrycroft Lane in 1841.
The Old Primitive Methodist Fen Chapel, Great Fen Drove, Soham Fen.The Old Primitive Methodist Fen Chapel, Great Fen Drove, Soham Fen.  
The Primitive Methodist Chapel in Soham Fen is situated on the North side of Great Fen Drove, it now stands disused.
The Salvation Army, Soham.The Salvation Army Barracks, Bushel Lane, Soham.  
The Salvation Army established a barracks in Soham in the 1890's
The Independent / Congregational Chapel, Station Road, Soham.The Independent / Congregational Chapel, Station Road, Soham.  
The Independent Chapel, later the Congregational, derived from a dissenting group already well established by the 1690's, now a private residence.
